Having examined the structure of arguments and how to evaluate their relative strength and weakness in class today, be sure to apply those strategies in peer assessing each others' papers using the argumentative essay rubric.

Happy Moon Festival long weekend!
Your homework for Wednesday is to:
- Finish reading, critiquing, and providing detailed descriptive feedback on two other students' papers. Realistically, this ought to be done by Friday. Tuesday might be a bit late for it to be useful.
- Revise, meticulously edit, and upload your final drafts to your blog. Part of being a community of creative, collaborative, and critical thinkers is sharing and receiving feedback (thoughts, opinions, suggestions, constructive disagreements, etc.) on each others' work. I will be expecting you to do so next week for EQ responses you have not yet read. Really effective course participation can be partially demonstrated by taking the initiative to do so without my prompting (even though this is sort of prompting, isn't it?).
- Finish up your beautiful, creative, and critically thought-out Evaluative Timeline Posters. Be sure to re-read the rubric! We have examined it twice now, but I have still been receiving questions about the requirements, so make sure you know exactly what is expected (read the post below again as well).
